Mike and Nancy
on the
Web.

Exactly who are we?

From the male perspective:
Mike is a guy who lives and goes to school in in Ottawa, and
Nancy is his beautiful, voluptuous and talented girlfriend.

 From the female perspective:
Nancy is a gal who lives in Ottawa, and Mike is her handsome,
dependable and intelligent boyfriend.

Mike is a Computer Engineering student at Algonquin College and is looking forward to graduating this December.

Nancy has a degree from Carleton University in Classical Civilization and is working at Newbridge Networks in Kanata.

Mike and Nancy got together in December 1996 when they were both cast in
the Ottawa Little Theatre's production of Auntie Mame.

Nancy played the role of Agnes Gooch, the dowdy, owl-eyed secretary who is hired to take dictation for Auntie Mame's memoirs. Gooch arrives at Auntie Mame's apartment, writes down everything she hears, gets set up on a date with Auntie Mame's prowling book editor, comes home knocked up and becomes a permanent house guest  in Auntie Mame's Manhattan apartment.

Mike played Patrick Dennis, Auntie Mame's orphaned nephew who comes to live with her as a boy and grows up, gets engaged, breaks the engagement and marries Auntie Mame's interior decorator. Patrick loved his Auntie Mame with all his heart, but is torn between living in her eccentric world or joining the high society.

After rehearsing for over two months, and the play running for 19 performances to capacity crowds, these two just couldn't say good bye.

They took VIA rail to Montreal for a weekend at the Marriott Hotel, and even came up for air long enough to go to the Montreal Casino where Nancy walked out with a $100 dollar bill from the slots!

The Montreal Casino

There was shopping, walking, room service, and the escalators in the Underground have not been used as much since!

The rest is, as they say, HISTORY.
